How long does an FMP session take? 

The length of each session is dependent on the size of the scar or the amount of hair on the eyebrows. The amount of time each treatment varies from patient to patient, as well as whether it is the first session or a follow up. 

Can FMP be modified or reversed? 

Unlike traditional tattoos, which can be challenging to remove completely, micro pigmentation can fade over time but is not easily reversible. There are some methods to help lighten micropigmentation, but these would have to be done under specific circumstances.  

What is the cost for FMP? 

At Doctor Edges, there are two services offered for scar camouflage depending on the length of the scar: 1-2mm or greater than 2mm. For eyebrow enhancement, service depends on whether there is some existing hair or no existing hair. Prices vary depending on the patient and the area where micropigmentation is being applied. 

What are the risks of FMP?

What happens before an FMP procedure?

What happens after FMP Procedure? 

The downtime after the procedure is minimal, but on the day of the patient will need a ride home. It is necessary to follow all post care instructions, especially regarding the cleaning of the area and having nothing rub against it.

What if I need a touch-up on the area I received follicular micropigmentation? 

When booking a FMP procedure at Doctor Edges, the initial session builds the foundation for the treatment area. A second session is completed one month after to touch up the area and target and faded spots. If necessary, a third session is included to finalize any details.
